Daniel Center

Daniel center

hope for youngsters

Most young people raised in the child welfare system face an uncertain future. More often than not, they become dependent on institutionalization and lack the skills necessary for an independent life. Without proper guidance, those who leave the system encounter difficulties for which they are not prepared, and some of them end up homeless, becoming prone to multiple risks (lack of work, harmful abuse of substances).

The Daniel Center is an accredited social service that can accommodate 9 young people in this risk situation. In a safe and residential setting, the program ensures the

development of the skills necessary to live an independent life, focusing on both the professional development of young people and psycho-social counselling. Thus, through emotional support, information, education, but also through various activities and programs, the beneficiaries of the Daniel Center are supported in integrating into society and the labor market, respectively in developing the necessary skills for an independent life. Since the year 2000, since the inauguration of the Center, approximately 150 young people have benefited from the social services offered by the program.
